Queen’s Park Neighbourhoods were delighted to see so many local people at our Community Consultation event today, in the lovely setting of the QP glasshouses. Our consultants, Kevin Murray Associates, shared the results of our initial online survey and got lots of feedback on peoples’ main priorities – we’ve now launched our Stage 2 survey to help refine the key themes and ideas into practical projects that will be at the heart of the Local Place Plan for Queen’s Park Neighbourhoods. Big thanks to Inhouse CIC, creative team behind Queen’s Park Arena, for helping with the event – also to our stakeholders who hosted stalls at today’s event to highlight the brilliant work they’re doing with and for the local community: Friends of Queen’s Park, Greater Govanhill CIC, Langside Community Heritage, Langside Halls Trust, members of Community Councils for Crosshill & Govanhill, Langside, Battlefield & Camphill, Shawlands & Strathbungo.
