Thanks so much to everyone who made our final event in the Local Place Plan (LPP) for Queen’s Park Neighbourhoods such a success – our team of volunteers; consultants Kevin Murray Associates (KMA); our circus entertainer; the crew at Frank’s Pizza; the Council staff team at the glasshouses; and each of the 212 local people who dropped by to share views on what’s most important for the LPP to address in our area.

KMA will now be working to finalise the Local Place Plan for submission to Glasgow CC in March – and for the Council to take into account as they work on the next City Development Plan. Queen’s Park Neighbourhoods are now working together with our 18 local stakeholders – see above, Local People Leading – to develop a Legacy strategy that will allow us to work collaboratively across the diversity of our local communities to take forward and deliver some key projects.
